Corazón De León

Born as Percival Milquetoast into a noble family, Corazón spent his childhood at the family estate in Hertfordshire with their at least 12 horses and a fine expanse of woodland. A lonely child, he used to play hide and seek by himself which allowed him to hone the stealth skills that would come in useful in later life. It also gave him a suitably tragic back story to make people go ‘awww’.

Growing bored of his privileged life, longing for adventure and freedom, he left home to become a pirate. Which apparently isn’t as hard as you’d think because he soon became captain of the Joyful Damnation, choosing to take the name ‘Corazón De León’ since it sounded cool and pirate-y. All was going swimmingly until the crew came across a cursed treasure. In circumstances that are apparently too traumatic to recall, Corazón dodged the curse but lost both his crew and his ship.

This didn’t stop him from continuing to write pamphlets home however, detailing his brave and exciting adventures. Much to the chagrin of his father, Lord Milquetoast, who finds the whole thing both embarrassing and increasingly expensive to cover up.

Corazón would probably like others to see him as the leader of the Oxventurer’s Guild. Unfortunately most of the people they meet don’t seem convinced. Possibly because they’re more concerned about the fact that he’s likely robbing them.
